Global Message Services is an international telecommunications company, invites applications from eligible candidates who can configuration and technical support of SMS and MMS exchange service platforms and support of SS7 signaling network, Connection and testing of new signaling (SS7 and Sigtran) and IP directions, as well as testing of SMS / MMS exchange, Investigating and resolving problems related to the quality of SMS/MMS exchange services etc to fill the following vacant post.

Position Vacant:
1. Operation & Maintenance Engineer (Interworking)

Job Function: Engineering

Qualification / Experience:

Higher education in information technology and/or telecommunications
8+ years of work experience as a Telco technical specialist (experience within a mobile operator will be an advantage)
Experience with the signaling system SS7 / Sigtran; Experience with SMSC and STP equipment

Skills Required:

Understanding of SMS exchange using the SS7 protocol (MAP), IP (SMPP);
English – Intermediate+ level;
Advanced PC user (Windows, MS Office, UNIX).
Knowledge of telecommunication networks structure, operation principles and mobile communications standards
