Under the direction of the Chief of Party (COP), the M&E Coordinator, plans and indicators to capture project performance results. S/he will provide effective, accurate and timely monitoring, evaluation and reporting of all project activities to the project management team, USAID, and Ministry of Health. The M&E Coordinator will be based in Islamabad and will work closely with the M&E team to design, implement and supervise M&E activities, ensuring that lessons learned are integrated into program implementation to continuously improve quality of interventions and outcomes.

Position Vacant:
1. M&E Coordinator
Qualification / Experience: Master’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences or related field, Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation in the health sector, Experience working on multi-year international health sector development projects strong preferred (approximately $15M or more per year) that have implemented successful activities in areas such as maternal, newborn and child health, family planning/reproductive health, health systems strengthening. Demonstrated expertise in quantitative and qualitative methodologies, operations research, health management information systems, reporting, data quality assessments, data analysis and presentation. Previous experience with a USAID-funded project with a strong understanding of the USAID framework and reporting system
Skills:
- Strong familiarity with Pakistan’s health management information system
- Excellent facilitation, oral and written communication skills
- Experience in processing and analyzing data using a statistical software package such as SPSS, Epi-Info, Status, MS Access.
- High fluency in both oral and written English required
- Working knowledge of Urdu strongly preferred
- Proven ability to coordinate, manage and delegate work appropriately
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including effective presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent strategic thinking, process management and problem solving skills
- Collaborative, results-oriented management style
- Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform
